I'm actually friends with an AMAZING cartoonist/blogger Miss Malady. (Check her out - missmalady.blogspot.com) She and I have worked in spas together, and joked about being the head of the Spab, or the Spafia. We wielded our power (what little we had) to make our working environments as tolerable as possible. Sometimes we succeeded, sometimes not so much. Always, we laughed. When you're behind the scenes in an industry where people have lots of money and get really relaxed, there's always good stories to be told.
If you don't want your days at the spa to be spoiled by the behind the scenes stories of what we really think, you might not want to read further. Otherwise, you've been warned.
